The St.Charles Church project in Ottawa’s Beechwood Village will be an 8 storey mixed use development, and is certainly one of the most unique projects Ottawa has seen. The church is a designated heritage building that will be preserved and transformed into a marketplace and restaurant. The church will essentially be wrapped with ‘horizontal homes’ and townhomes with high end finishes. The project will be surrounded by park space, will feature an array of building amenities, and is within close walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Beechwood Village. The original St.Charles Church was built in 1908 and will continue to be of historical significance as it is thoughtfully incorporated into this residential development.
